720p SIM2 DLP vs. 1080p SONY SXRD  E-mail
There's been a lot of buzz going around about Sony's latest 1080p SXRD projector, codenamed "Ruby".  We've spent the last few days with one, primarily to ISF calibrate it for its owner, but it's given us the opportunity to run it through its paces.  Although we'll only have this unit for a few more days before sending it to its new home, we thought some of you would like the chance to take a look at it.

We'll also have the Sim2 C3X LITE on display and will be able to do some A/B and split-screen comparisons between these two projectors.  People have been asking us about the differences between 1080p SXRD (A.K.A. LCoS) and 720p 3-chip DLP projectors.  Here's your opportunity to *see* the strengths of both technologies side-by-side.  By the way , we will be writing up the results of the shootout for Audioholics.com.

The showing will be at our Colorado Springs location this Wednesday, 8/9 at 6:30 PM.  We know it's somewhat short notice, but we wanted to get both displays dialed-in before comparing them, and we need to get the Sony shipped out by the end of the week.

Please bring anyone you know that might be interested in one of these two pieces!  Also, please RSVP if possible.
